Have anyone seen this kind of case, one with moulded identification data instead of a sticker? And with such a strange serial number?

Could this be a fake/post-official-production C64?

I was told they are official, but it seems like they are quite rare.
Btw, i own one. Additionally, the case has plastic snappers instead of screws.

I have two C64s like this, both purchased in England I believe. They're both 250469 REV A machines.

From my list:

That s funny, I just picked up one of these units today, working perfectly. Although it does have a cheaper feel to it than 'regular' c64-c's. The casing and keyboard feel loose.
I've registered it in the database today as well btw.

Yes, I have one too, now. They are flimsy and "creaky" and the keyboard is loose because it's all just clips/retainers. No screws anywhere...
