Subject: New release about ready
I am just about ready to release a new version.
New additions are:
* compatibility with new and old versions of Windows- the fix I put in recently had strange problems with older Windows (pre-SP2) releases and older MAME versions.
* You can now have 2 different MAME executables assigned to different launch buttons.
* Full support and correct positioning for more recently released AVI video previews.
* Configurable "screen saver" that launches a random game for a set amount of time, after a set amount of inactivity.

Subject: New UltraMame 1.9 update
At some point in the past with a version of MAME that added the VIPER BIOS games, a bug exposed itself with regard to parsing the game list file.
This has been fixed. Download the new version to play with newer MAME releases. (Although I'm sticking with 0.106 for the foreseeable future)Discuss this entry

Merry Christmas! Most updates are done on the C64 Preservation site, and occasionally the GameTrek site. Give them a visit if you have a moment.Discuss this entry

I have switched over to a homegrown "site management " system that I am helping to write with Chris Hurley. He also wrote this fine BBS to which I have converted the (small) message base. Discuss this entry
